Rosopatamab 225Ac Drug Conjugate

Release Date: 25-Jan-2025

Ac-225-Rosopatamab represents an innovative targeted therapy developed through a partnership between Convergent Therapeutics and AIkido Pharma (now known as Dominari Holdings). This pioneering medication integrates a monoclonal antibody, CONV-01-andalpha;, with Actinium-225 (Ac-225), a radioactive alpha particle agent. It is specifically engineered to target PSMA, a protein that is overexpressed in prostate cancer cells, particularly in metastatic instances. By attaching to PSMA on the surface of tumor cells, Ac-225-Rosopatamab effectively delivers its radioactive payload directly to the cancer cells, employing alpha radiation to eliminate the cells while sparing adjacent healthy tissue.

At present, Ac-225-Rosopatamab is in Phase 2 clinical trials in China, focusing on patients with PSMA PET-positive castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC). These studies aim to assess its safety and efficacy in treating advanced prostate cancer that has proven resistant to conventional therapies. The integration of targeted antibody therapy with alpha radiation presents a promising new strategy for managing metastatic prostate cancer.
