The PD-1/PD-L1 pathway is a key immune checkpoint that tumors use to evade detection by the immune system. PD-L1, expressed on tumor cells, binds to PD-1 on T cells, suppressing their activation and function. By binding to PD-L1, QLF 31907 prevents this interaction, effectively blocking the immunosuppressive signal that tumors use to avoid immune attack. On the other hand, the 4-1BB component of QLF 31907 activates the 4-1BB receptor on immune cells, particularly T cells. This activation triggers a downstream immune response that enhances T cell proliferation and cytokine release, strengthening the immune system’s ability to target and eliminate tumor cells.

 

The dual action of QLF 31907 creates a synergistic effect.
