The male consumers in India are willing to pay premium price for cosmetics products which are developed specially for them as per the findings of upcoming consumer study “India Male Cosmetics Market - Consumer Insight 2012”, by KuicK Research. As per the consumer study, more than 80% of the surveyed male consumers are willing to pay premium upto 10% to 15% for male specific cosmetics products available or yet to be launched in the market. Although, the Indian male consumer is more price sensitive than its counterparts in western countries but they don’t hesitate to pay premium for cosmetics products when it comes to feel good and look attractive.
The consumption of cosmetics products by Indian male has witnessed upward trend in recent years.
